Nifflas' Games, the developers of the Knytt Underground game, announced a few days ago that the first Beta version was made available for Linux-based operating systems.

Knytt Underground is a 2D platform game in which the player needs to explore a huge world, while enjoying a quirky story.

The downloadable demo version of the game features only the first three Chapters. However, be aware that the third chapter is ten times bigger than the first one. It supports both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

Being a DRM-free title, the Knytt Underground game is cross-platform, which makes it playable on the Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.

Knytt Underground can be purchased right now from Gamer's Gate or Fastspring websites. It is also available on Steam Greenlight, and it will probably be launched on Valve’s Steam on Linux app too!
