It's not impossible, lots of women can do it but it's a tremendous amount of work

Christine Domanic is a woman who custom crochets anything. What? You don't believe us? Check out that picture, it's her work right there and trust me, if she can crochet a TV with Pitfall on the screen then she can crochet anything else. Just look, the TV set even has the volume button and the screen contour defined. How much work does crocheting involve? Well, first of all, the woman had to choose the colors for the wool she used as strings. Then, she crocheted the sides with regular pattern that were then knitted together. The tricky part, I imagine, was the screen.

How exactly did she fit the game's character, flowers and trees in the center? She couldn't have knitted different parts together there too. I don't know, my mother used to crochet me sweaters that I took to school (lame huh?) and it was a mystery for me then as much as it is today. No matter how hard she tried to explain the process to me, I just couldn't get it through my thick skull. But I did wear them...

Anyway, Christine Domanic's etsy shop displays all sorts of custom crochets that you can choose to have and the Atari 2600, complete with two controllers, a game cartridge, and Pitfall on the screen is just one of them. Now, just imagine how a PS3 with analog controllers and High Definition TV with Lair on screen would look like. Would that be possible? Preserving the number of polygons, it could be done, covering about two small countries.
