
The Weinstein Company has bought the rights to develop a feature film based on the TV series "Knight Rider."
Glen A. Larson (author of many cult TV series such as "Knight Rider," "Magnum P.I." "Fall Guy," "Battlestar Galactica" owns the rights and he will also write the script and executive produce the project through his production company Glen A. Larson Productions.
David Price will co-produce it.
1980's hit television series "Knight Rider" was a revenge story about a policemen who after being shot and left to die is saved by a mysterious millionaire, and he regains consciousness as a new man with a new face and a new name: Michael Knight.
His mysterious benefactor wants Michael to go with the crime fighting work and ultimately get revenge on the people who left him to die.

The original hit television show starred Baywatch's David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight.
