Klipsch Group is about ready to start shipping their latest speaker system, one that should serve personal computers just as well as media players or TVs.

The new speaker system that Klipsch invented goes by the name of Energy Power EM-2.1 and isn't advertised as the most spectacular of audio products, nor is it intended for the low-end market.

Instead, it is packed with as many features, aesthetics and performance-related, as can be justified by the price.

For those who missed it, the item will sell for $99.99, which translates into 72.43 Euro, according to current exchange rates.

This month, November 2011, is when shipments are supposed to start, so people won't have to wait too much.

That said, Klipsch Group didn't skip out on actually saying what the newcomer could do.

With a total sound output of 25W, Klipsch Energy Power EM-2.1 has two speakers, as well as a 3-inch, front-firing subwoofer with built-in bass and volume controls.

Each speaker has 1.3-inch fiber composite cone drivers and the whole thing communicates with anything that has 3.5mm input.

“With the newest addition to our highly-anticipated powered series, consumers truly gain a new means of Energy sound with the Energy Power EM-2.1, this time with a simple setup process at their desktop,” said Tommy Jacobs, director of customer development for Energy.

“Consumers are becoming avid viewers and listeners on their computers and tablets, and we want to be sure to accommodate them with the best sound reproductions and a pure Energy experience.”

Music playback, watching TV, playing games on a personal computer are all easy enough activities to involve the Energy Power EM-2.1 in.

All information can be found on the official product page that Klipsch has set up on its website (it is located at the other end of this link).
