14 DAY TRIAL // Soldak Entertainment, which has recently announced a new RPG game for the Mac, has updated its website to include new entries to the bestiary of Kivi's Underworld. A public beta for the game has commenced, an you're all invited to jump in, and even to preview the game.
Kivi's Underworld is a hack and slash game slated for release in the 4th quarter of 2008. Players can either take the role of Kivi, a young lumen warrior who has to fight the unknown, or step in the shoes of any of the 20 playable characters with unique abilities and magic spells. Soldak promises that gamers will also be able to create new adventures, classes, and powerups within the game, or download some from the Internet, once the game is out.
Kivi allows gamers to adventure as one of 20 character classes against a variety of enemies, while they can also play as one of Kivi's companions, leaving the safety of the underground cities to rebuild the lost city of Defiance. The first screenshots for Soldak's upcoming action RPG title are now available. Kivi, the young lumen warrior, now has go up against two new monsters.

Dark Elf Warrior:
In a forgotten time, the elves were one diverse, surface dwelling race... Dark elves have no limits of morality. Twisting magic, they attempted creating legions of monsters to hunt down the others, the banished elves. When prospectors dug into dark elf territory looking for large lifestones, the dark elves discovered a new world they had forgotten, ripe for the taking.
Shadow:
Slipping through volatile turmoil at the center of the world, tiny demons infested the underworld. Almost imperceptible, these Shadows are a hidden hazard in the darkest of the dark places. The unseen kills before the danger is ever known.
