Kirstie Alley Launches Organic Liaison and Weight-Loss ‘Elixir’

Given that her weight has oscillated from one extreme to another throughout the years, many might be tempted to believe Kirstie Alley is not the most appropriate person to found a weight-loss company and come out with her own weight-loss product. The actress, on the other hand, believes it’s precisely because of her yo-yo-ing weight that people should give her at least a fair try, as she puts it in a statement cited by ContactMusic.

The actress started piling the pounds many years ago – because of her weight, she went into hiding, only to emerge as the latest spokesperson for the internationally famous Jenny Craig weight-loss program. With it, Alley shook off the extra pounds, until she was actually able to appear in her bathing suit on a television show watched by millions of people, on Oprah. Then, she lost again the battle against the pounds, which brings her here, with a new program that she herself helped devise and that she’s trying as we speak.

“I’m not a doctor or a nutritionist – I’m a regular person like you who has been struggling with her weight and searching and praying for a weight loss program to end that forever.
