Now, she will never ever agree to make an appearance because of Scientology-bashing

On Monday’s edition of Dancing With the Stars, in the rehearsals video that aired before Leah Remini’s Samba, she says she just knows the Church of Scientology, from which she defected this summer, is “just waiting for me to fail.”

Well, her former friend, ex-DWTS contestant and still-Scientologist Kirstie Alley is super mad that producers would allow this kind of “bashing” on TV, Radar Online has heard.

“Kirstie was livid that Leah made those comments about the church on Monday night. She couldn’t remember another religion being targeted and disparaged on Dancing With The Stars. Enough is enough, Leah needs to move on and stop talking about Scientology,” says a spy.

The insider also vouches that Kirstie has made up her mind to turn down producers when they come asking her to make a cameo on the show.

Perhaps even more hilarious than Alley’s reaction to a simple comment Remini made on the show (she is allowed to speak her mind like everyone else, isn’t she?), is the way the Church of Scientology reacted to it.

“We know this may come as a surprise to someone as self-absorbed as Ms. Remini, but we could care less if she wins or loses on Dancing With the Stars,” says a statement from the Church’s publicist.

All this aside, how amazing was Leah’s Samba? After all this, I’m finding myself rooting for her even more this season.
