When Maksim’s thigh gave out during the rumba on DWTS and he fell, taking Kirstie Alley with him down, fans gasped, thinking this would cost them their place on the how. That didn’t happen – and Kirstie got a tattoo to mark the occasion.

Not only were the two not eliminated, but they actually managed to get a standing ovation from the judges and the audiences for their impressive dance number.

Kirstie was told that she’d proved “you can’t keep real talent down,” while Maks got plenty of praises online for being a true gentleman and taking all the blame for the fall.

All in all, the 60-year-old actress came out even better from all this, a fact she knows only too well. To celebrate a good performance on the show, she got a tattoo on her wrist, PopEater informs.

“Last night, Alley’s Dancing partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, cringed in pain as he injured something during the first few steps of the duo’s rumba. But Chmerkovskiy grimaced for only a moment before finishing the passionate dance with Alley to roaring applause from the audience and judges alike,” the e-zine writes.

“Rather than sulk, the 60-year-old stunner celebrated last night’s stumble by getting ‘unbroken’ tattooed on her inner wrist,” PopEater writes.

The e-zine also has a photo of the actress showing off her brand new wrist tattoo. You can’t see what it says, so we’ll just have to go with PopEater on that it reads “unbroken.”

Kirstie also confirms on her Twitter that she got brand new ink in what she describes as a girls’ night out.

“Party girl? not so much tonight...BUT I did get a tattoo and I love it....and I had fun...in the end this turned into a magical night...xoxo,” she writes.

“I luv it.. Like a tiny pet,” Kirstie adds. Only that, unlike a pet, it will never go away.
