Kristen Stewart: People’s Interest in Me Makes Me Want to Puke

Kristen Stewart, along with “Twilight” co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, is undeniably one of the hottest stars of the moment, being able to command the kind of attention and media coverage few other actors her age can. Yet, all this interest in her and particularly in her personal life does not have the effect one might expect on Kristen, for she feels sickened by it, she says in a recent interview cited by News.com.

Of course, fans know that this is not the first time that Kristen complains about how life in the spotlight has turned to be more of a nightmare for her instead of a magical dream come true. In past interviews, the actress even admitted to coming to the conclusion that it would be best for her if she just stayed in hiding for most of the time, and only came out when she was contractually bound to. Given her recent statement, one can see why she’d choose to live her life like this.

“It’s so weird, that you have to be worried about people seeing things. You want to be excited about something, normal people can be excited about their lives, and I am, too, but it’s such a different thing. It comes out as entertainment for other people and that makes me want to throw up,” the actress says of the very marked interest people have in her and in her personal life, which is what seems to bother her the most.

In a separate but still recent interview, Kristen also compares the relationship she has with paparazzi to being abused, which is the last thing she would have imagined her life would turn out to be. “All you see is an actor or a celebrity lit up but a flash. It’s so… The photos are so… I feel like I’m looking at someone being [abused]. A lot of the time I can’t handle it. It’s [expletive]ed. I never expected that this would be my life,” she explains.

Kristen Stewart, with her rumored real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, will be seen next in the third installment of “The Twilight Saga,” called “Eclipse,” out in theaters on June 30. On June 6, Twi-hards will get the chance to see a brand-new clip from the film at the MTV Movie Awards, where the trio will also be in attendance.
