Kirsten Dunst thinks she was the perfect choice to play Marie-Antoinette in the upcoming Sofdia Coppla directed biopic of the tragic French queen, as they have shared similar life experiences.
"The way that I grew up, starting so young, working on movie sets and being with all these older people - I could really relate to having people around you who always want something."

Dunst portrays the Austrian child bride sent to Versailles aged just fourteen with limited knowledge of the French language, who was arranged to marry Louis XVI and was very unprepared for the woes of politics.
Marie-Antoinette continued to be ridiculed by France and was decapitated during the French Revolution.
The cast of Sofia Coppola's movie include: Jason Schwartzman, Rip Torn, Judy Davis, Asia Argento, Marianne Faithfull, Aurore Clément, Guillaume Gallienne, Clementine Poidatz, Molly Shannon, Steve Coogan, Jamie Dornan, Shirley Henderson, Jean-Christophe Bouvet, Filippo Bozotti.
