A new film about Iraq is to be made by Paramount Pictures.
It will recount the story of a real-life aid worker, Ruzicka, who has worked in Afghanistan and Iraq, trying to document the number of civilians killed or hurt by US forces.
Through her organization Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict, she helped victims receive $10m (£5.7m) in compensation from the US government.
Ruzicka was killed in a suicide bomb-attack in Baghdad, in April.
The story of her life was bought by Paramount last year, along with the rights to a book by Jennifer Abrahamson, who planned to write it with the aid worker before Ruzicka died.
Kirsten Dunst, 23, has just finished filming the title role in Oscar-nominated director Sofia Coppola's new movie "Marie Antoinette", and has recently teamed-up with Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace for Spider-Man 3, set to be released in 2007, reprising her role as Peter Parker's love interest.
