The 'Spider-Man' star finally decided to talk about her love affair with the 'Brokeback Mountain' star, and especially about the causes that made them realize that they were not meant to be together. Although Kirsten confessed that she still hopes that she and Jake would get back together again, this is very unlikely to happen considering that the young actress chose the press to open up about their sex life.

In an interview with 'News of the World', Dunst says that she knew she and Jake couldn't make it, because they were too young and way too much involved in their careers. She also added that, at one point, when things started to go sour, they took up sex in the weirdest place as a means to fixing their dysfunctional relationship.

'Jake and I couldn't last. He's a stay-at-home boy and I'm an out-on-the-town girl. We tried to spice things up - we had sex in cars, in the bathroom and even by the sea. The only place we didn't have the guts to try was in a walkway in a hotel because we thought we might get kicked out if we were caught', the actress told the magazine.

But she still carries a flame for her former boyfriend, along with the hope that they would be getting back together again, just like in the movies they both star in. 'Despite what has happened, though, I still have this whole fairytale vision in my head because I was brought up on movies and storybooks that say I'm going to find my soul mate, get married and have a perfect life. Maybe one day that will be with Jake', Kirsten concluded.
