Actress Kirsten Dunst was spotted at the "Elizabethtown" premiere getting 'drunk and obnoxious', worrying her friends that she may have some problems with alcohol.
Dunst, 23, arrived at the New York premiere 'looking disheveled and tired before drinking herself into an aggressive stupor'. An eyewitness quoted by America's New York Post newspaper said: "Dunst was drinking far too much and became very loud, pushy and obnoxious."
Earlier this week, the actress revealed that she believes she drinks too much and that she will probably check into a rehabilitation center if she will keep this habit.
Kirsten, invited at 'Lay Leno Show', confessed that she has changed the food in her fridge with alcohol and regularly enjoys a drink at home.
Dunst told Jay: "I stock up on Veuve Cliquot champagne. I buy it from Costco because its cheap there. I have lots of alcohol and no food in my fridge".
Asked if she's not worried by her need to drink, Kirsten replied: "Well, maybe in a few months you will see me in a rehab clinic"
Dunst began her acting career at the age of three, appearing in television commercials. The actress later made the transition to the big screen in her first film appearance, "New York Stories", in 1989. Soon after, she landed a small part playing the daughter of Tom Hanks's character in "The Bonfire of the Vanities".
Dunst's breakthrough role was in "Interview with the Vampire", a 1994 film based on Anne Rice's novel of the same name and directed by Neil Jordan. This movie features a somewhat controversial scene in which Dunst, then aged eleven, had to kiss Brad Pitt, who was 29.
Her most well-known performances to date have been in "The Virgin Suicides", the cult hit "Bring It On", and as Mary Jane Watson in "Spider-Man" and "Spider-Man 2".
Dunst won the 2002 Best Actress Silver Omb■ at the Mar de Plata Film Festival for her performance as Marion Davies in Peter Bogdanovich's "The Cat's Meow".
More recently, Kirsten has played the role of doomed 18th-century royal, Queen Marie Antoinette. The forthcoming motion picture, titled "Marie-Antoinette", is scheduled for release in autumn 2006 and is currently in Post-production.
