Kirby Triple Deluxe just got a new short video showing the protagonist, pink-hued Kirby, using various powers that he has copied from his enemies.

Kirby is once again engaged in some classic platforming action, with the colorful visuals and catchy chiptunes that the series has accustomed us with.

The pink blob known as Kirby is one of the most underrated characters in Nintendo's roster, living in the shadow of his flashier colleagues Mario, Link and Samus Aran.

The new trailer shows him utilizing many of his powers, many of which he copies from his opponents. In the video, you can see him liberating tasty hamburgers from the evil clutches of some bushes, using the bell power to take cover and become impervious to some rather nasty attacks, and using a whip in an attempt to domesticate a gargantuan duck, showing skills that even Indiana Jones would envy.

All in all, it looks like an improved version of what he was up to on the NES or on the Game Boy, which although going mostly under the radar will no doubt allow nostalgic gamers to relive a piece of their youth.

Kirby Triple Deluxe is currently scheduled for release in North America on May 2 and in Europe on May 16, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS handheld systems, both in stores and on the eShop, and is already available in Japan.
