It, of course, supports USB on-the-go technology for mobile devices

It's been a few weeks since Kingston last launched something, so the company must have felt that it was time for a new flash drive to grace the eyes of the world.

So here we are, beholding the DataTraveler microDuo from Kingston Technology Company. Or, rather, the new DataTraveler microDuo from Kingston Digital Europe Co LLP, an affiliate of Kingston Technology Company Inc.

The storage device has both USB 2.0 and microUSB connectors, the former for normal PC use and the latter for smartphones and other gadgets with USB OTG support (on-the-go technology, for using mobile gadgets as host devices).

For example, you can shoot high-resolution photos with your phone or camera, even 4K video, and store them on the drive.

Not directly though. You'll still save the files on whatever memory card your device has (here's a compatibility list). Later you can move the files, and whatever else you can, to the flash drive to free up space.

Kingston will ship the DataTraveler microDuo in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities.

All of them are very small, at 27.63 x 16.46 x 8.56 mm / 1.08 x 0.64 x 0.33 inches.

Sadly, the company did not say what prices it wanted in exchange for each of the drives.
