This much we can infer from its most recent purchases and orders

Kingston is one of the better-known brand names on the random access memory market, so we can safely say its activities can provide clues as to what will happen on that segment of the IT market in the future.

According to a new report from Digitimes, the company has booked up almost all of the available DDR3 production capacity at Nanya Technology.

Kingston has also, supposedly, booked most of the services of Powerchip Technology.

Those two are among the foremost memory suppliers in Taiwan.

Given these signs, there is much to suggest that Kingston expects memory to sell very well during the second and third quarters.

We've already seen shipments growing enough for price to rebound, and they can only go higher once Intel and AMD launch new CPUs in June, prompting a new wave of desktop and laptop sales.
