Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Launch Trailer Now Available

Electronic Arts, 38 Studios and Big Huge Games have just revealed the launch trailer for the upcoming Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning action RPG, ahead of its release next week.

Reckoning promises to take the traditional role playing game recipe and add plenty of action elements, from a more stylized combat system, akin to hack and slash titles, to a special Destiny system that awards gamers with bonuses, in the form of fate cards, to augment their play style.

We were already impressed by the game’s demo, which appeared last month on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, and now, just before its release next week, the launch trailer has arrived.

Showcasing tidbits of Reckoning’s story, while focusing on the variety of finishing moves and the stylized combat, the video is quite impressive, so give it a look above.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is out on February 7, in North America, and February 10, in Europe, for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
