Following the massive success of the Kickstarter campaign, Czech developer Warhorse Studios is continuing the crowdfunding effort for their upcoming role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance on their website.

The company is taking a page out of several successful projects' book by allowing latecomers to still pledge support for the forthcoming game through PayPal on their website, in order to ensure that they can unleash their full creative force without having to worry about funding or limitations imposed by a publisher.

The team is taking advantage of the crowdfunding revolution in order to make what they call a "Dungeons & no Dragons" type of game, a realistic medieval role-playing game with no magic or fantasy creatures, a welcome break from the afflux of pointy-eared or hairy-footed denizens of RPG universes.

As such, Kingdom Come: Deliverance will offer a first-person single-player role-playing game experience set in medieval Europe, with an open world and a complex and period accurate melee combat system.

"Our game is being developed without the aid of traditional publishers, so it relies on your support and funding from private investors. Originally we tried to approach publishers, but they refused to finance project they considered to be too risky and niche," Warhorse states on its website.

The developers are grateful to all the fans and private investors who have made Kingdom Come: Deliverance a reality, after they tried a Kickstarter campaign as a last-ditch effort to get the game going, fearing they would otherwise lose two years' worth of work.

Fortunately, that is hardly the case now, and Warhorse has the funds to make sure of their creative freedom to make the best way they can, without having to worry about pleasing "guys in suits who don't understand games at all."

The pledges available on their website are the same as the lower tiers of the Kickstarter campaign, offering a digital copy of Act 1, access to their forums, Alpha and Beta access, along with a collection of goodies that vary with the choice of tier.

In addition to this, the crowdfunding platform that Warhorse set up allows Kickstarter backers to raise their initial pledge level, should they so desire, if they use the same email address to register.

Furthermore, all funds raised through Warhorse's website will go towards reaching the next stretch goals, improving the overall quality of the game and expanding its set of features.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is currently slated for release sometime during Q4 2015, on PC, Mac and Linux.
