Katauri Interactive, as the developer, and 1C Company, as the publisher, is announcing that the demo for King's Bounty: Armored Princess is now available to all those who are interested in taking a sneak peak at the title ahead of the official release date of November 20. Players who would like to experience the same solid combat mechanics as in the original King's Bounty can download the official demo from Softpedia. The whole game is set to retail for 39.99 dollars.

The demo is set to give a pretty good picture of what the game is all about. Players will get a big island they can explore at will, will get to play around with the new Princess Amelie character, the hero of the game, and to experience the tamed dragon that can be used on the tactical battlefield and will take the place of the Spirits of Rage from the first game.

There are also some new races to meet and battle, spells that can be tried out both in the tactical space and on the open map and a look at the new Pegasus mechanics, which allows the mount Amelie rides to fly over some obstacles.

King's Bounty: Armored Princess will be set in the same universe as its prequel, with Amelie actually looking for the protagonist of the first game, who has gone missing. Players will again need to navigate an open world real time map, collecting resources, talking to NPCs that give out quests and offer trade deals.

They will also gain access to structures allowing them to recruit various creatures for their armies and they will clash with a variety of enemies, among them the newly introduced Pangolin, Lizzard-like race. The original King's Bounty was a very enjoyable and deep experience and those who loved it should definitely take a look at the Armored Princess demo.
