The recently announced Kindle and Kindle Touch eReaders retailing for $79 and $99, respectively, certainly look like a good deal at first sight, but in order to reach this price Amazon had to cut some corners.
What this means is that going for one of these low-cost eReaders won't get you the same accessories pack as users of the Kindle Touch 3G will receive, since Amazon has decided not to include a power adapter.
Instead, owners of the two Kindles will have to pay an additional $10 US (7.3 Euros) to buy it as an optional or rely on just the micro-USB cable that is provided in the accessory pack.
Charging so much for such a simple kit of hardware just doesn't sound right to me, but than again it all depends on how often you happen to recharge you Kindle from the power outlet.
