Amazon has announced that it has entered into partnership with video game developers like Zynga, Gameloft, Electronic Arts, Rovio and PopCap, which means that more than a thousand apps that are already available on Android will also be delivered on the Kindle Fire when it is launched in the United States on November 15.

The titles that have been confirmed so far include: Angry Birds, Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle, Cut the Rope, Doodle Jump, Fruit Ninja, Age of Zombies, Pac-Man, Drift Mania and Jenga.

Amazon says that it will be testing all the apps in order to make sure that they are compatible with the Kindle Fire and has also said that one paid application will be given away for free every day.

They also plan to implement the 1 click technology that Amazon has developed for all game purchases.

There are now more than 3,000 video games and more than 20,000 applications included in the Amazon Android Marketplace.

Baudouin Corman, who is the vice president of American publishing at Gameloft, stated, “As Gameloft continues to create games for the mass market, Kindle Fire comes as a very exciting new platform for us to offer our games on.”

David Ko, who is the Chief Mobile Officer at Zynga, added, “Teaming with Amazon to make Words With Friends a featured game on the Kindle Fire provides us with a great way to reach new and existing players on a fresh and exciting device.”

The Kindle Fire has also been confirmed as offering support for well known streaming services like Netflix, for movies and television shows, Rhapsody and Pandora for music.

Users can also use social networks like LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook from the new Kindle.

The Amazon made Kindle Fire is seen as a potential rival for the iPad line from Apple because it has the marketing power of the giant company behind it and ready access to a lot of content.
