If you own a Kindle Fire tablet and love to stream video, you should know that the Verizon Redbox Instant app has now been made available for Kindle Fire tablets.

RedBox Instant is one of those on-demand apps that lets users tap into an extensive library of thousands of movies which are available for streaming at any time. More than that, film lovers can download content right on their device.

The app also lets you find Redbox kiosks located in your vicinity and makes it possible for you to check out which movies that are available for rental and even reserve DVDs and games for a later pick-up. You can look up content, browsing by genre.

For the time being, the app is compatible with all models of the Kindle Fire family, except the original model. Apart from that the second-gen models, Fire HD and HDX version are all good to go. Download the Redbox app off the Amazon Appstore for free.
