Most tablet owners love their device except for when something goes wrong. And something will go wrong eventually, regardless of whether you own an iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina Display, Surface 2 or a Kindle Fire HDX.

Leading product Q&A portal on the web and mobile, Fixya has posted a report detailing the major issues customers encounter while using the tablets mentioned above.

Amazon’s latest tablet endeavor has been praised in numerous reviews, but if you think the slate is a stranger to bugs and malfunctions think again. 25% of Kindle HDX 8.9 users reported having a problem with the pre-installed Silk browser, which has a tendency to freeze when users are attempting to open a new tab.

Moving on, 20% reported a lack of apps as being the second greatest Kindle HDX disadvantage. Amazon ships the tablet with its own pre-installed operating system the Fire OS, so that means users don’t have access to the Google Play Store and thus to the great plethora of apps available there.

Fixya also found that the HDX has a slow charging battery, which can put a damper on things when you are out and about traveling.
