14 DAY TRIAL // The Kindle app optimized for iDevices giving you the ability to read Kindle e-books has been enhanced with “children’s books, comic books, and graphic novels with beautiful layout and full color,” according to Amazon.
Amazon says there are over 1000 children’s titles available, including Brown Bear and Curious George and comics such as Batman and Superman. Users gain an improved reading experience with smaller margins and a cleaner look. These two additions are iPad-only.
Version 3.1 further enhances the app by adding search functions, as well as fixes for issues that prevented lookup of words on Google and Wikipedia. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Kindle iOS requires iOS 4.2 or later.
