14 DAY TRIAL // Kimberly Stewart and Benicio del Toro became parents to a baby girl in August this year, after what the media described as a one-night fling. In the latest issue of Hello magazine, Kim is showing off her adorable daughter.
Since the two were never linked publicly, the pregnancy announcement came as a shock. Even so, it made it perfectly clear that the two were not an item anymore but were dead serious about raising the child together.
Benicio was even present at the hospital as the baby was being delivered, Kim says for the publication whose cover she graces with her daughter, Delilah.
"The whole family, including Benicio, was at the hospital and my mom and Benicio were in the delivery room with me,” she says for the publication.
Even though they are no longer together, the actor is an attentive, dedicated father, says Rod Stewart's daughter.
“Benicio’s very involved; he and Delilah have a very special bond,” Kim explains.
“Delilah is starting to smile; she’s the perfect little angel. She definitely looks like her dad, but she has my legs and eye color,” she adds.
As for why they chose to name her Delilah, Kim says this has always been her favorite song. “I named her after the Tom Jones song, as I’d always loved that,” she points out.
Delilah and her 8-month half-brother Aiden, Rod's child with his current wife Penny Lancaster, are already good friends, with Kim hoping they would grow up together to be inseparable.
She says her entire family is very experienced when it comes to raising children, so she's getting more help and support than she could have ever imagined.
She doesn't say anything else about Benicio, which does nothing in terms of making rumors about her trying to force his hand into a relationship go away.
