Kim and Kourtney Kardashian Stage Intervention to Get Khloe to File for Divorce
Mid-season finale finally reveals how Khloe decided to leave Lamar Odom
From the start, fans knew that Khloe Kardashian’s divorce from Lamar Odom was going to be featured on season 9 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, as trailers hinted since before it premiered. At the same time, Lamar was promised that the scandal would not put him in too negative a light, but that was not to say there would be no drama.Last night, on the mid-season finale, viewers got a glimpse into how Khloe was convinced to file for divorce after trying to save her marriage for the past couple of years.
Sisters Kim and Kourtney staged an unofficial intervention to make her understand that things couldn’t go on as they had until then, because she deserved better than to be locked in a loveless relationship in which she was the only one making an effort for it to work.
All three turned on the waterworks, which is understandable in such a critical situation, but it was Kim who got through the most with Khloe. Kim was married twice and she’s now getting ready for her third time down the aisle, with rapper Kanye West.
She also told Khloe she’s to expect to feel guilty about her failed marriage for about a year after the divorce, which is what happened to her when she split from Kris Humphries. For a 72-day marriage, Kim was definitely “in mourning” a lot, which I actually find pretty funny.
Even funnier is the chat they had (video below), if you think that she started dating Kanye soon after she broke up with Kris. So yes, I don’t know about that “whole year” she spent tormenting herself over the reasons it didn’t work out for her and Kris.
