Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are getting a divorce after just 72 days of much mediated and highly lucrative marriage. As such, it's no surprise people are already talking about how it was all just a PR stunt.

An insider who claims to be well in the know of what went on when the cameras weren't rolling on the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” reality show, tells Radar Online that the marriage was just that: a business deal.

While Kim is saying she thought she was getting married “for life” and Kris claims to be “blindsided” by her filing for divorce, the spy dishes all the juicy details: the marriage was arranged.

Kris was the husband E! producers and the Kardashian family chose for Kim and they never really loved each other – not when the cameras weren't rolling, that is.

“Kim was never in love with Kris. Kris certainly wasn't in love with Kim. There was a lot of affection between the two, but it wasn't love,” the spy says.

She'd never gotten over Reggie Bush and Kris was certainly not the man to help her move on from that relationship.

“It was pretty much an arranged marriage right from the start. Kim was looking for a husband and Kris was selected for her, amongst others,” the insider further says.

“She wasn’t really into him but she hoped she would be able to develop some feelings, but it never happened. She was never particularly attracted to him, and by all accounts absolutely hated sleeping with him or even having to make out with him,” adds the spy.

Kim really hoped this would change after they got married, the insider goes on to say. However, in time, she learned that things only got worse and she soon realized she had no other alternative than to part ways with Kris.

To further strengthen the impression that the marriage was a sham, here is the statement from E!, the network that produces her reality show:

“The Kardashians have always been uniquely open with all aspects of their lives from joyous events to intimate moments to heartbreaking transitions. E! will continue to share the fascinating real lives and larger-than-life existence of this close-knit family” (emphasis ours).
