14 DAY TRIAL // This past Friday, the news broke that Kim Kardashian's kitten, Mercy, passed away as a result of an unexpected stomach problem.
Despite the fact that the kitten was no longer in Kim's care, seeing how the latter is allergic to cats and therefore could no longer share her home with Mercy, sources report that the celebrity was left devastated by this loss.
Following Mercy's death, Kim Kardashian blogged as follows:
“It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you all that my kitten, Mercy, has passed away. My heart is completely broken.”
“Mercy was a gentle and loving kitten and we are all going to miss her so much. Thanks to Sydney [i.e. Chloe's assistant and the person who was looking after the kitten] for making Mercy's short life one filled with love. RIP Mercy Xo,” she went on to add.
Mercy was just 4-months-old when it passed away.
