14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are now the proud parents of a healthy baby girl, their first child together. As the mother is resting at the hospital, word of the name the two have chosen for their daughter has emerged online: it’s North.
Despite reports that they have named the child Kaidence Donda West, a name that obviously blended Kim’s passion for K names and Kanye’s love for his late mother, TMZ says that an older rumor is actually accurate.
That would be the report that they had opted for North as the name of their firstborn. As in, North West.
“Seriously, that's the kid's name... at least according to the birth certificate from Cedars-Sinai hospital,” the celebrity publication writes.
“There were rumors floating around a few months ago that Kim and Kanye West might give the baby a directional name... but who thought they would actually go through with it?” adds the same media outlet.
Another indication that the baby isn’t named Kaidence Donda comes from a source close to camp Kardashian, who tells Us Magazine that the two stars aren’t ready yet to go public with the name.
“They're not quite ready to announce the name yet. But the name definitely does not start with a K, despite all the rumors that have been out,” the tipster shares.
“Everybody is doing great. The baby is so sweet. Kanye is in love. Kim's real due date was July 12 – Kanye's mom's birthday. That warmed his heart,” adds the same insider.
Kim gave birth earlier.
Before she went into labor, word in the tabs also had it that she had no plans of going down the same route as her sister Kourtney, who documented both her deliveries on camera for the family’s reality show.
Then again, reports also said that Kanye would not be there for the birth because he felt queasy about it, but it has emerged now that he was there.
