14 DAY TRIAL // You might have been fooled by the many daily paparazzi photos of Kim Kardashian into thinking that her life hasn’t changed after the pregnancy but, in a new interview, she insists she’s “more of a recluse” than before.
The star, now expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West, says being with child has made her think about the future and whether she wants to be as much in the spotlight as before, the Huffington Post writes.
As she puts it, she’s already more private.
“I'm definitely more of a recluse since I was pregnant. But I haven't necessarily decided to hold myself back, it's just preparing myself for respecting the privacy of my child and my boyfriend,” Kim says.
It’s a known fact in the blogosphere that Kanye doesn’t like attention as much as Kim, with one particular rumor even saying that he specifically asked her to tone it down for his sake.
Kim too seems to be acknowledging that in the same interview.
“We live different lives, but I love being open. That's who I've always been. That will never change because that is who I am,” she says.
In this particular statement, certain gossip bloggers believe they see the first signs of a breakup, particularly after Kanye went on for weeks without seeing Kim, but that’s just speculation.
“It does worry me when I think about it,” Kim says on the topic of raising her kid in the spotlight. Then again, looking at her younger sisters Kendall and Kylie, she realizes things aren’t that bad.
“My little sisters have grown up so amazingly, with really good heads on their shoulders,” Kim muses.
Over the weekend, Kim and Kanye were spotted out and about house shopping, so perhaps this means an end to his extended stay in Paris, where he’s working on his music and his fashion line.
