14 DAY TRIAL // She didn’t lie when she said she wanted more from life than a career as a reality star and that she was desperate to give acting a try as well. Kim Kardashian is in talks for a role in the upcoming Gotti movie, opposite Travolta, it has emerged.
John has been meeting with members of the Gotti family quite regularly in the past few weeks and word online has it it’s all about a new movie that’s now in the works.
In it, Travolta will be playing the lead, it is further said. Kardashian may also be up for a part: she’s considered for the role of Travolta’s daughter in law, TMZ reports.
“Kim Kardashian is on the verge of scoring the role of a lifetime opposite John Travolta – as John Gotti’s daughter-in-law in the new biopic about the mafioso’s life,” the e-zine says.
As of now, no deal has been signed just yet but odds are strongly in Kim’s favor, insiders familiar with the situation reveal.
“Sources connected with the movie tell TMZ, Kim recently met with executive producers on the film to discuss the possibility of playing Kim Gotti in the movie,” the aforementioned publication writes.
“Nothing’s been signed yet - but we’re told KK’s a front-runner to land the role and producers have expressed strong interest in casting her... to act,” TMZ says.
As noted above, Kim too has expressed an interest in acting in feature films, saying she found movies much more challenging than doing reality shows and adding that she felt up to the task.
At the beginning of this month, Kim even revealed that she was looking at various offers for roles, but insisted that she was taking her time because she did not want to rush into things and make a bad call about her debut, as we also reported at the time.
Rumor online had it that she was dreaming of landing the role of a Bond girl because she saw it as the perfect launchpad for a career in movies for herself.
