There’s no denying that Kim Kardashian and the entire Kardashian clan went all out for her big wedding day, when she became Mrs. Kris Humphries. One of the details that transpired online ahead of the TV special is that she wore $10 million worth of diamonds on her curvalicious body.

Promos for said TV special, which will air on E! on October 9 and 10, show the bride in a classic princess-like Vera Wang gown, with a headpiece that beautifully compliments her bridal veil.

The Huffington Post has all the details on said headpiece, of which it says it was a rather unexpectedly traditional piece considering how fashion-forward Kim usually is.

And yes, it also mentions that Kim was dripping in diamonds worth an estimated $10 million – loaners, but expensive nonetheless.

“Kim wore part of her $10 million Lorraine Schwartz jewelry haul on her head. The strand of diamonds featured larger, teardrop-shaped diamonds hanging around the front, resting on Kim’s bronzed forehead,” HuffPo writes.

“Definitely a different sort of wedding look,” adds the same publication. Apparently, the headpiece was meant as a homage to her late father and, at the same time, her Armenian descent.

“‘She looked very Armenian, like an Armenian princess,’ with the headpiece being a reference to her ethnic roots and an homage to her late father, Robert Kardashian,” the Post writes, citing a source who was lucky enough to be invited to the fancy reception.

In other Kim Kardashian-related news, word online has it that she is probably one of the few brides who can boast of making a fortune off their wedding – and not spending a cent for it.

Among reports that she raked in the big bucks with the wedding extravaganza, the NY Post puts a figure to the rumor: Kim is now $17.9 million richer by turning her own special day into a media event.
