Late last week, Kim Kardashian was flour-bombed on the red carpet. A yet-unidentified woman walked right up to her and poured an entire bag of flour on her, to the surprise of everyone around. Kim is now saying she'll be pressing charges.

Initially, Kim laughed off the entire incident. Though surprised beyond words, she went and had her team clean her up, after which she returned to the event.

She tells E! News she didn't want to disappoint and disrespect all those people who had traveled a long distance to be part of it. Secondly, it was a charity event, and she couldn't let anyone down.

“I said earlier no I wasn't [going to file a complaint]. I am just going to think about it, because I don't want someone to think they can really get away with that. So we are going to handle that,” the reality star says for the aforementioned e-zine.

Her first reaction to being flour-bombed was one of surprise, which is why she laughed the incident off. Then, she realized this breach of security could have been more serious, had the woman other thoughts in her mind than to just flour bomb her.

At the same time, Kim couldn't but feel sorry because the incident diverted attention from the cause at hand: this was a charity event and all people could talk about was Kim's flour-bombing instead of the event in itself.

“I was laughing it off earlier and, you know, I think that is the only thing I knew how to do at the time. But I just think it is such a shame that someone like that... would ruin an event, or attempt to ruin an event, that was based around, not only my fragrance, but this organization, Dress For Success,” Kim says.

“I mean that's what the event was about. These women flew in from all over the country to be a part of this event, that are underprivileged women, that really got the shine taken away from them a little bit. That's why I am calling in now. I feel bad that it was kind of derailed from that,” she adds.

In the same statement, Kim explains that the only reason she did not want to file a complaint on the spot was because she wanted to dust herself off (literally) and get back to business – and her guests.
