If you combine the star power of Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow, you'd still not get even close to how famous Kim Kardashian is. At least, that's the impression she seems to have of herself, according to a new report.
Radar Online claims to have it on good authority that, while her claim to fame remains questionable at best, her ego is so overinflated that she can't see it.
“I’m more famous than Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow combined,” she told a friend just recently, as cited by the celebrity gossip publication.
“She just doesn’t seem to understand that she is not a movie star, and she is famous for all the wrong reasons,” an insider says.
Indeed, Kim rose to fame for being the daughter of the lawyer who got OJ Simpson off the hook in the murder case and for being Paris Hilton's sidekick / BFF.
Afterwards, she became a household name (if you will) when a personal tape she'd made with her then-boyfriend “leaked” online.
Even so, Kim believes that Angie, Jen and Gwyneth can't really hold a candle to her.
Because she believes herself so famous, she's decided to marry current beau Kanye West, having divorced Kris Humphries after just 72 days because he wasn't high-profile enough for her.
“Kim thinks she made a huge mistake and wasted her time marrying Kris because he is a no name. She is obsessed with the fact she married someone less famous then herself and has plans to fix that by marrying Kanye,” says the insider.
“She feels if Angelina can marry an A-lister then so can she!” adds the spy.
The other day, reports emerged saying that, indeed, a wedding was in the cards for Kanye and Kim. They have been dating (officially) for 4 months and Kanye is set to propose to her the minute her divorce from Kris is finalized.
