Her reality show might be bleeding money, but she’s far from it

Kim Kardashian’s E! reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, might be bleeding money (or close to it) because of increasingly disappointing ratings, but she’s far from it. In fact, she’s about to release a new video game and thus further bank on the ever-successful “Kim Kardashian” brand.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

A few hours ago, Kim posted to her Instagram a photo of herself in the studio, clearly recording vocals for something. Before her fans even got the chance to formulate the thought that she might be considering a revival of her ill-fated music career, Kim broke the news of the game to them, with the caption, “Excited about this new project #ComingSoon #KimKardashianGame.”

She also posted the photo above, which she captioned with “Sneak peek from my upcoming project! Super excited about this! #KimKardashianGame.”

So yes, Kim Kardashian is getting a video game and it’s clearly called “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.” It might not have the most original title, but you can bet it will sell like hot cakes, like it happens with everything Kim does – unless we’re talking about the reality show, which seems to have outstayed its welcome on the market and is now on its way out.

TooFab has learned that the game will arrive on iTunes and Google Play next week, and that it’s “a Kim-centric version of the Glu Mobile product Stardom.” This means that you don’t get to play as Kim, but as an aspiring entertainer who will have Kim as mentor.

You will “visit all-new restaurants, clubs and movie studios, flirt and network with other famous actors to get the best roles, customize your home with cool designer furniture, avoid the paparazzi, and get famous in new movies and TV shows.”

“Flirt with other famous actors to get the best roles”: for a game based on Kim, her life and her career, we do have to say that this line in the description isn’t doing her any favors. We all know how she got famous in the first place (with THAT home made tape), so we hardly need any reminding of how she continued to climb up the ladder. Just a thought.

“[Kim] will serve as a career mentor who helps your avatar get a publicist and book gigs. We're also told the reality star will be seen wearing a collection of outfits modeled after looks in her actual closet,” TooFab notes.

All in all, the game is packed with lots of stuff to get the fans thrilled, from the chance to have an animated Kim as “mentor” to the outfits that are replicas of items from her wardrobe. If she manages to squeeze in a “cameo” from daughter North West or husband Kanye West, she will most definitely have a smash hit on her hands.
