14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian is perhaps one of the busiest women in the industry because keeping yourself in the headlines when your entire career is based on nothing else but attention seeking is the kind of job that tends to keep you away from home a lot.
Should you care to track all her daily comings and goings, you will probably notice that Kim has at least a couple of outings a day; and we’re talking here “errands” with full fanfare, a full face of makeup, complete styling from head to toe, an army of paparazzi, the works.
These things take time, time that many believe she’s depriving her daughter North West of. To put it simply, Kim is too busy being the same attention seeker as ever to spend any actual time with Nori.
To these, Kim has this to say: the reason she can successfully juggle her career (such as it is) and motherhood is because she’s gotten very good at prioritizing.
A woman can still have a career and look good and pamper herself, and even go clubbing and hang out with friends, if she knows how to employ her time and energy right, she says in a new interview with Romy and the Bunnies.
She’s not saying it’s easy and she’s not saying she doesn’t get extra help, but it can be done.
“It is an adjustment trying to balance a career and motherhood for sure, but the key is to prioritize. You become more selective and work on projects that are so meaningful because you want every other waking moment spent with your family. You have to remember though to make time for yourself. If you feel good, you will be happy in your career and family life and everyone is happy!” Kim says.
“I took a hiatus after I had the baby, and found it challenging to start working again because I didn’t want to spend any time away, but you adjust and prioritize, and just figure it out!” she continues.
Of course, these statements will probably fail to convince skeptics, especially when there’s so much photographic evidence that Kim is out for hours on end at photo ops instead of being at home with her daughter.
There’s also the question of how much she travels. Though she says Nori is always with her, that’s not always the case: there are paparazzi photos online that confirm Kim mostly travels alone, and even that North too flies with just her nannies and bodyguards.
Hilariously, a few days ago, Kim was spotted at LAX with Nori, just as talk of her being an absentee mother was starting to pick up again. The curvaceous reality star made a show of getting the baby pram (which was covered so you could not see inside) out of the car and of asking the paparazzi to keep it down because “my daughter is sleeping, please.”
The paparazzi being sneaky as usual, a bunch still got a good shot under the blanket, in the pram: there was no North there. The pram wasn’t empty though, because Kim had secured a towel with the safety belt. It was sleeping, we assume, so this explains all the fuss she made upon arrival.
