14 DAY TRIAL // For months, rumors have been saying that former Olympian turned reality star Bruce Jenner had started the process of transitioning to female, with the reports fueled by obvious changes in his appearance. A couple of weeks ago, they culminated with a story in one of the most circulated weeklies, claiming Bruce was very close to coming out as a transgender woman.
Then, last week, another rumor emerged, saying that he would be addressing the speculation about his gender identity on the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the family reality show, with the implication that yes, he would confirm he was transitioning to female.
It’s Bruce’s journey and Bruce’s story to tell
Well, whatever Bruce is going through, Kim is not about to deny or confirm the rumors. The curvaceous reality star stopped by Entertainment Tonight for an interview mainly to promote her Super Bowl T-Mobile ad (see the second video embedded below), and she talked a bit about the rumors swirling around Bruce.
While stopping short of saying that he was transitioning to female, she did talk of him being on a “journey,” as everyone else is in life. She also made it clear that whatever that was, he had his family’s full and unconditional support.
“I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right. I feel like that's his journey to talk about,” Kim says, as you can see in the preview video included below.
Bruce is “the happiest” ever
Rumors aside, despite the fact that Bruce recently ended his marriage to Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, after 23 years, he is happy. He is actually “the happiest” Kim has ever seen him, so there’s no sense in paying too much attention to all those reports talking of family feuds or the never-ending fights that still happen between him and Kris over money or stuff related to the reality show.
Kim doesn’t say these things out loud, but she’s media savvy enough to be up to speed with all the reports about her and her famous family. Her words are meant to assure loyal fans that all is well in Kardashian and Jenner-land.
“He's our dad so we support him no matter what,” she says, “and I think when the time is right, he'll talk about whatever he wants to talk about. I just think it's his story to talk about, not really mine.”
