14 DAY TRIAL // A short while ago, Kim Kardashian posted online a photo of her swollen feet after a public promotional appearance. The straps of her sandals had dug right into her flesh, and the sight worried many of her fans about her obsession with high heels.
As it turns out, Kim has no intention of giving them up no matter how badly swollen her feet and ankles become, or how uncomfortable she is.
Attached to this article are two photos snapped by paparazzi during Kim’s most recent outing. She is accompanied by her mother and manager Kris Jenner, looking very summery in a tight dress with a faux cape.
However, it’s not until you lower your eyes to her feet, which are positively strangled in a pair of trendy sheer plastic heels, that you realize how uncomfortable Kim must be.
The second photo attached here is a close-up. Any woman must imagine how painful walking in these shoes, under such circumstances, must be.
This again brings up the question of Kim’s clear refusal to wear maternity clothes and shoes.
In previous interviews, she’s defended her decision to wear whatever she likes because she doesn’t have to do what other people think she should do just because she’s with child.
Still, when you’re this uncomfortable in high heel shoes, the question is not of doing what others want you to do, but of taking better care of yourself, one might assume. There’s no need to put yourself through hell especially when you’re with child.
Useless to say, since these photos came out online, there’s been a lot of talk of Kim needing to just sit down, take a breather and ditch the heels: do fewer appearances and business meetings, and just enjoy the experience of being pregnant.
She’s yet to address any of her fans’ concerns on social media.
