14 DAY TRIAL // Kim Kardashian may be facing the biggest backlash from the public of her career but she'd determined to spin things around in her favor – on her reality show no less. Reports say she will make sure Kris Humphries is portrayed as the “villain” in all this.
Kim and Kris were married in August this year in a ceremony that aimed for the title of “the wedding of the year.” Just 72 days later, she filed for divorce, saying he wasn't the man she thought she married.
As we speak, several petitions are making the rounds online, with organizers hoping to raise enough signatures to get Kim and the entire Kardashian Klan off TV for good.
Until then, though, Kim will get one final shot, Radar Online says: she's already made sure the upcoming season of her reality show puts her in the most favorable light.
“The upcoming season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York will feature the star, Kim Kardashian, as the 'victim' and her estranged NBA hubby Kris Humphries, as the 'lazy and insensitive' villain,” Radar writes.
In other words, Kim has gone out of her way to make sure she pins the blame of the breakup on Kris, when it's a confirmed fact that he didn't even know they had such serious issues until he learned in the press that she'd filed for divorce.
Radar reports that she has the final say into what footage goes into her show and, as such, she's already decided to paint Kris as the villain.
“She just couldn't believe that she had married this man that was treating her and her family like this,” says an insider of her reaction when she watched back footage shot for the new season.
She will be seen “as the victim, and Kris will definitely be the bad guy. Kim was stunned by the amount of bad press and the public relations nightmare she has endured since deciding to file for divorce,” adds the same insider.
A shrewd businesswoman, Kim knows that her popularity has taken a huge hit in recent weeks, but she believes she can still turn things around if she plays her cards right, the report goes on to say.
“Kim will be using the show to attempt to rehab her image. Kim has been telling her inner circle that she has worked very hard to get where she has, and she isn't going to let her marriage and subsequent decision to divorce Kris Humprhies ruin that,” says the source.
“Kim carefully and methodically plans all of her business decisions, and that is how she is looking at her divorce, as all business. Of course she is sad, but it's all about Kim's endorsement deals and paid promotional appearances,” adds the same insider.
