Throughout the years, Kim Kardashian has endorsed a variety of weight loss programs, no doubt, boosting their sales considerably. In recent months, though, she's learned it's best to stay in shape by being moderated.

Kim is curvy and she's also not tall, which means every extra pound can become instantly noticeable. As such, she has to pay attention constantly to her calorie intake.

The latest print issue of Us Weekly (story via here) features an article on how Kim maintains her enviable figure.

It also comes with a photo of the star in a two-piece swimsuit on the cover, which you can see by following the link above. To speak the truth, the pic seems photoshopped beyond recognition.

On to more specific details, Kim tells the mag her number 1 tip for staying in shape is cutting out all sugar from her diet even though there was a day when she though she couldn't live without it.

“Changing my eating habits makes a big difference,” she says. Kim also claims she's a size 2.

Today, Kim is more careful about her diet, making sure the food she puts on her plate is light, healthy and nutritious.

“I wake up and eat eggs with turkey bacon, then salad for lunch and fish, pasta or chicken for dinner,” she says.

She's also given in to sister Kourtney's pleas and is more open to organic alternatives.

“She’s taught me to eat more organically. She’s a bit extreme, but slowly I’m learning to love it,” she explains, adding she's even tried wheatgrass shots.

Of course, dieting is only part of a healthy routine to stay in shape and avoid weight gain and Kim knows that only too well.

She works with celebrity personal trainer Gunnar Peterson and he makes sure she gets the most out of their 1-hour sessions.

“Every minute is accounted for. You go from running to pull-ups to lunges to crunches to overhead presses. You get more work done in the same time,” Peterson explains for the aforementioned publication.
