Kim Kardashian has broken her silence online. After announcing her divorce from Kris Humphries, the star went off the radar to deal with the breakup, but she's now ready to get back in the spotlight, so she's making her return on her official blog. In a post titled simply “Thanks to My Loyal Blog Dolls!” Kim thanks her millions of fans from all over the world for the support and encouragement they've been showing her throughout the divorce and the media scandal that it started.
She says she couldn't blog (or
tweet, one might as well add) right after she decided to divorce Kris – for the obvious reason, we might assume.
However, she missed her fans too much, so she decided to return on her blog and show them that all the words of love and encouragement they left on various channels for her read have all been read and duly appreciated.
“Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank you guys for all your support these last two weeks. I took a break from blogging for a while, but I’ve missed you guys so much and I want to start sharing my updates with you all again,” Kim writes on her blog.
“I’ve been reading all your comments on here and, as always, my loyal blog dolls have been nothing but supportive. You all know who you are, so thank you! I love you guys. Kim xo,” the reality star add.
Though the first comments to the post were negative, with some former fans pointing out how
betrayed they felt when she filed for divorce after just 72 days, the more recent are very positive.
Kim may have alienated a segment of her audience with her decision to divorce Kris (and a few others, including choosing not to return the wedding gifts or the engagement ring she got when Kris proposed to her), but she still has very loyal fans.
Not only are they willing to continue supporting her in everything she does (business endeavors and television work) but they're also dying to defend her in public.
Most of them say Kim married Kris
and Kris only, so she shouldn't offer any explanation to anyone else about why she decided the marriage was no longer working and she wanted out.
At the same time, they say, love comes and love goes, so perhaps it would be smart idea if people stopped picking on this little detail of the marriage lasting only 72 days.
