Kim Kardashian would often complain about the pesky paparazzi while still pregnant with her first child by Kanye West, daughter North, claiming they would put her life in danger by pursuing her on the freeway. As it turns out, she’s pretty much in the same danger still even though she gave birth this summer.

Just hours ago, Kim was involved in a potentially dangerous situation which was caused, according to a TMZ report, by the paparazzi. Kim was also pulled over and ticketed for speeding.

The incident took place in Los Angeles on the freeway, with the reality star being pulled over for driving above the legal limit, in what the e-zine describes as an attempt to flee the paparazzi, who were chasing her in several cars.

When police pulled her over, the paparazzi stopped the cars where they were and literally jumped out of them, rushing over to Kim’s to snap a picture as she was being ticketed. As you can imagine, the scene translated into blocked traffic and hell for the officers on duty.

“We're told a paparazzi helicopter was even hovering overhead. And police are [fuming] – our law enforcement sources are saying the paps endangered multiple lives with their risky photography, including Kim's, other drivers on the road, and the officers involved,” TMZ reports.

“We're told the California Highway Patrol cited one photog for speeding and the rest got away. According to sources, the CHP is now looking into the incident further to see if the case can be sent for further prosecution. As one source said, ‘They're not getting away with this’,” the report adds.

Because breaking the law is never justifiable, Kim too was ticketed for speeding and was sent on her way.

This isn’t the first time that paparazzi cause mayhem in LA while chasing a celebrity for what they call “the money shot.” Earlier this year, a photographer died after being hit by a car as he walked into traffic at the end of a chase of Justin Bieber’s car, thinking it was the pop star who was driving it.
