14 DAY TRIAL // She’s played it cool for so long, but the time has come for Kim Kardashian to finally speak up. Since Friday, when Vogue released its latest cover with Kim and Kanye West on the cover, there’s been a huge uproar about having her on it but, as you can see in the video below, the curvaceous reality star remains unfazed.
She stopped by Seth Meyers the other night to promote the issue of the magazine, and joyfully talked about the shoot, how they managed to keep it a secret, her wedding planning, and what it’s like to live in her mother’s house, together with her fiancé and their daughter.
Kim claims she had no idea that she would be on the cover, which I don’t buy because celebrities asked by such major publication to take part in a shoot often accept on the condition of being offered the cover as well.
As for the backlash that’s been raging since Friday, she doesn’t say a peep – but she does go through the pain of pointing out that perhaps it’s time we approached things with a more open mind.
“There are a lot of firsts [with the cover],” she says. “Kanye's the first rapper to be on, I'm the first reality person to be on, we're the first interracial couple.”
