The moment word got out that Kim Kardashian was dating rapper Kanye West, speculation began on whether she and Beyonce, the wife of Kanye's best friend, Jay-Z, would ever get along. The first indications that they would are here.

Recent reports have claimed that Kim was quite infatuated with the singer, whom she believed would open countless doors for her in her A-list circle.

At the same time, it was said that Beyonce had actually banned Kanye from bringing Kim along whenever he hung out with her and Jay.

At least that last report has been proved wrong: Us Weekly says Kim and Beyonce actually bonded backstage at one of the latter's most recent shows.

“Before making an appearance at The Pool After Dark at Harrah's resort in Atlantic City, NJ on Sunday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star made a beeline for Beyonce's concert with pal Brittny Gastineau and her makeup artist Mario at Revel's Ovation Hall,” the report says.

She didn't just attend the concert, though. Thanks to Kanye, she got a backstage pass and got to hang out and “bond” with Beyonce herself.

“Backstage, Kardashian, 31, got a chance to chat with the woman of the evening herself, and the pair were seen greeting each other with an embrace and dancing together. Beyonce's husband of four years, Jay-Z, is best friends with Kanye West, Kardashian's serious boyfriend,” Us reports.

An unnamed source claims the two hit it off instantly, adding that this can't but mean that all those reports in the press about Beyonce “banning” Kim from her life are lies.

“Kim thought it was such a great show. There's always some random rumors there is tension between them and there totally isn't! Kim had so much fun,” says the spy.

Kanye is Kim's first serious relationship (that we know of) after her failed 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, which is also the reason she's been blacklisted in some circles, as she failed to convince even some of her famous friends that the marriage hadn't been a shameless PR stunt.
