Kim Kardashian didn't bargain on some racial scandal ruining her appearance at the swanky Vienna Ball from which she fled earlier than planned after a man with a black face came up to her and pretended to be Kanye West.

While the Vienna Ball isn't the usual place where you would find the reality starlet, TMZ reveals that she was invited to the event by Richard Lugner, in return for the handsome sum of $500,000 (€365,401), just to be his eye-candy and lady on his arm for the evening.

Lugner is a wealthy businessman who is known to pay stars to accompany him at the ball, a tradition that he's kept on for years. This year, he invited Kim Kardashian, probably in hopes to get additional attention. In return, he offered to pay her half a million dollars.

Sadly, the night did not turn out as planned, when a white man came up to Kim wearing a black face and pretending to be Kanye West. Visibly annoyed by the gesture, Kim is said to have avoided the man for the remainder of the evening.

But it seems that the heckler had other plans in mind, for a mere hour and a half later, he again approached Kim and reportedly asked her to dance. When she tried to excuse herself by saying that she wasn't a good dancer, the unknown heckler said that he would dance with her if the orchestra played “[N-word] in Vienna.”

This, it would seem, was the final straw for Kim, who stormed away in anger. The incident left a bad taste in the mouth of both parties involved. For her part, Kim insisted that Lugner did not behave as a gentleman and tried to get her to be alone with him by getting rid of her security team, as well as being aggressive and grabbing her on several occasions.

In return, Lugner was also annoyed that things turned out the way they did because he feels Kim's early departure was not agreed. In his view, he didn't get his money's worth and reportedly told the press “Kim is annoying me. Because she's not sticking to the program.”

At least parts of the incident are said to have been caught on camera as Kim had her crew present at the scene, filming for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality show. A furious Lugner later stated that “She's filming and so she doesn't want to have me around. The guest should be with me and not anywhere else that is not agreed upon.”
