14 DAY TRIAL // Kris Humphries made it to 72 days married to Kim Kardashian but Kanye West might not even make it this far. Just 43 days into the marriage, he and the reality star spent only 9 nights in the same bed – and they were “miserable” to boot, insiders close to the stars reveal.
Kanye didn’t appreciate just how much Kim loved shopping, lounging by the pool, and going out in full glam mode for the paparazzi before they were married, the spies say, so, when they did tie the knot, he was somewhat shocked to see that she would not cut from the time allotted to her favorite activities to do the things he liked too.
That, combined with the fact that he had to go back on the road performing, meant they barely got to see each other. It doesn’t sound like much of a honeymoon phase, if you ask us.
Speaking of honeymoon, apparently all the trouble began right then, when they went to Ireland for a few days after the wedding. Nothing was to Kim’s liking, from the climate to the fact that she had no place to shop and be seen and admired.
So the little time they did spend together since they were married has been no fun.
Kanye imagined she would be happy to experience a new culture and country by his side, but clearly, he and the reality star were not on the same page as regards expectations for the honeymoon. So all his attempts at arranging tours and museum visits eventually went down the drain, because Kim chose to stay indoors and just sulk.
Making matters even worse, she also found reasons to complain with the accommodations: they checked in at the Castle Olivier complex in Limerick, Ireland, but they left shortly afterwards complaining that it was “too big” and had too bad phone reception, and moved into the Ballyfin House in Co Laois. They refused to pay for the services they had already enjoyed at the first hotel.
Their second honeymoon, in Mexico at an exclusive resort, was no happier, at least not for Kanye. Kim spent her days at the pool working on her tan and posing for the paparazzi who just “happened” to find out where she was, but her rapper husband was “miserable and brooding” the whole time.
So, after just 9 miserable nights in the same bed in 43 days of married life, it’s starting to dawn on Kanye that Kim isn’t the kind of woman he thought would be happy to experience new things by his side, because she’s too set in her old ways – ways she has no intention of changing, not for him or anyone else.
“Kanye now recognizes that Kim’s main interest are shopping and lounging around a pool. It’s really concerning to Kanye that Kim doesn’t even want to try to experience new things,” the insider stresses.
As we speak, celebrity pundits are placing virtual bets on how long this marriage will last. Yes, it’s a mean thing to do, but it’s happening: most agree that it won’t make it past the 1-year anniversary. What do you think?
