The backlash against Kim Kardashian continues, even though she’s literally working extra hours to turn things in her favor again. This time, she’s just been named the Most Ill-Mannered Person of 2011 after her decision to divorce Kris Humphries.

Few must those who still don’t know that Kim married basketball star Humphries in August this year, in what was deemed the most eccentric and costly ceremonies in showbiz in recent years.

With all that, 72 days later, she’d filed for divorce and didn’t even bother to inform Kris about it, letting him learn of it in the press.

For that and for so much more, she’s just been named the Most Ill-Mannered Person of the year that’s about to end, Radar Online informs.

“The reality star received the dubious distinction from the National League of Junior Cotillions ‘for making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage’,” the e-zine informs.

In setting up her relationship to Kris into a story arc for her reality show and then ditching him to the curb after she’d milked the marriage for all it was worth, Kim literally trampled on the institution of marriage.

More importantly, in doing so, she mocked her fans and supporters by insulting their intelligence, and by taking their loyalty for granted and shamelessly lying to them.

At the opposite pole is Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, who has been reaping nothing but praises since her marriage to Prince William.

“For the poise and dignity with which she conducts herself in the public spotlight,” Middleton gets the title of Best-Mannered Person of 2011, Radar says.

“The annual selections are based on the demonstration of dignity, honor, and respect. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was chosen for the exemplary manner in which she has conducted herself, before and after her marriage to Prince William,” Elizabeth Anne Winters, NLJC National Director, says in a statement.

In between the two extremes, Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian, we find Justin Bieber, who gets a nod for “consistently showing courtesy to his fans,” and Taylor Swift, “for inspiring young people with her music and her manners.”
