“She’s like the most intriguing woman right now,” rapper says in new interview

Say what you will about Kim Kardashian but she’s influential and she’s powerful and, equally important, she’s worthy of every possible distinction, be it a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame or the cover of Vogue magazine – so says her fiancé Kanye West.

The rapper sat down for a lengthy interview with radio personality Ryan Seacrest, and, before you rush to contradict him, consider that this is a man deeply in love speaking. He also happens to have an overinflated ego, so this explains some of the things he said during the chat.

“People get really hung up in the way I word things, but I'm the best. That's the bottom line,” Kanye tells Ryan when talking about how people tend to get hung up on words.

The same applies to his girl Kim who is the best of the best. It’s the “classics” who won’t let Kim be great, Kanye honestly believes, by denying her all the praise and adoration she’s entitled to.

“And that's that wall [i.e. ‘classism’] when I took my girl to the Met Ball and they put it up on Vogue.com and tried to say she wasn't there because they didn't want a reality show girl there. It's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue,” Kanye argues passionately.

“She's like the most intriguing woman right now. Barbara Walters is calling every day. Of course, we're the most interesting and collectively we're the most influential, especially in clothing. No one is looking at what [President] Obama is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day,” he continues.

Considering he’s talking about the bikini selfie she posted to show off how much weight she’d lost, we imagine Mrs. Obama doesn’t even want to be able to do that: after all, not all women feel the need to show off like that.

But Kanye doesn’t stop to think of such trifles: as he sees it, he and Kim are writing history.

“There's a wall of classism that we are breaking through because we will be the most influential in clothing because it's true to us,” he says.

Below is a video from the same interview, in which Kanye talks about the proposal and surprise engagement party he threw on Kim’s 33rd birthday.
