It's not just a fling, it's true love, new tabloid report claims

They're still to confirm being a couple but they're already pegged as the next Jay-Z and Beyonce. Fresh reports suggest that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have more than just a fling – this is real love we're witnessing here.

Us Weekly notes that the rapper is convinced that Kim is “the one” for him and the other way around.

In fact, the tab even mentions something about the reality star being Kanye's “Beyonce,” in a not so subtle reference to the most powerful couple in showbiz right now.

“Stranger things have happened. A pal tells the new Us Weekly, out now, that Jay-Z's close friend and collaborator West, 34, has fallen 'genuinely head over heels' for Kardashian, 31, with whom he was photographed gallivanting around NYC late last week,” the celebrity publication writes.

The source vouches that this new “fling” is not just that – and it's definitely not another PR stunt meant to drum up publicity for whatever new projects they both have coming out this spring.

“It's not a PR stunt. They're perfect for each other. He thinks she's his Beyonce!” the insider gushes.

A good friend for years, Kanye patiently waited for Kim and he's now seeing the results of his efforts.

“Now that Kim has gotten over the Kris drama... she sees how much Kanye loves her,” notes a second insider, referring to her failed, 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.

As mentioned above, neither Kim nor Kanye has yet confirmed the alleged romance that's been keeping gossip lover so busy these past week.

Kim's sister Khloe was on Ellen DeGeneres the other day and, as expected, she also had to take questions about the new man in the Kardashian picture.

You can see that segment of the interview in the video below.

While she admits that Kim and Kanye (“Kimye”) would make a “cute” couple with serious odds of passing the test of time because they've been friends for years before that, Khloe refuses to offer anything that might be interpreted as a confirmation of the affair – or a denial, for that matter.

She tells Ellen the only way she can get a good answer to her question is by having the curvaceous reality star herself on her show.
