Her fans say she has a body to kill for and, judging by her public appearances, she also seems to be confident of that. Still, Kim Kardashian too has her insecurities. In a recent interview with Closer magazine, cited by
Contact Music, the socialite, reality star and fashion designers reveals that behind the glamorous façade is a woman like any other, only with a bit more money.
Despite the fact that she constantly tops “best-looking” and “hottest” charts and lists, Kim too has certain things about her body that she doesn’t like and that she’s trying to change.
Still, she says, the key is not to strive to attain perfection because such a thing would be impossible, but to accept and love your body as it is, with the good and the bad.
“I’m
not always confident – of course I have hang-ups like everyone else. I’ve never been a big fan of my thighs, but I do love my stomach when it’s in shape,” the star says in the interview.
“I work out with my personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson, for an hour each day and do classes. But I enjoy running on the treadmill,” Kim adds, explaining how she got so toned.
Aside from working out, Kim also has to be extra careful about what she eats, especially since she can hardly control herself when cravings set in. Her biggest enemy: junk food.
“When I fancy a snack I reach for cookies. I’m a classic yo-yoer, but I’m always determined to get back into shape,” she explains.
In fact, just the other day, Kim to her official Twitter page to say that, while she gave it her best at the gym, she tended to ruin its positive effects by overindulging in junk food.
As for a woman’s second worst enemy after extra weight, growing old, Kim says she’s not worried. She’s not against plastic surgery either, but she is determined not to end up looking all plastic like other celebs out there.
“I don’t worry about ageing. I might consider a ‘lift’ but women in Los Angles go too far. I don’t want to end up with big puffy lips and a scary stretched-back face,” she says.
Ironically enough, just recently, Holy Molly talked to several plastic surgeons about Kim’s seemingly constantly altering face and learned that it was, indeed, bearing telltale signs of plastic surgery.
Moreover, two of the surgeons (who never treated or been acquainted to Kim) urged her to stop whatever she was doing because her face was beginning to look too “plastic,” as we also
informed you at the time.
